Zach loves The Pixies and so we have been debating having our first dance at the wedding be to one of their songs. The one we like the best is La La Love You

I think this is awesome, however, I am not completely deaf to all the lyrics. Ha!

Also, we have a video screen that we can show something on during the reception. I really don't want to go to the effort of putting together a slide show so we are debating just showing Casablanca with the sound off. Does it say something that we want to show a movie where Bogart doesn't get the girl at the end? Hmm...

I like The Pixies a lot and I /love/ the idea of a non-traditional first dance song (one of the coolest thing I saw was this one wedding where they had Clapton's "Rock 'N' Roll Heart"), but can you really dance to any Pixies song? At least any kind of dance where you're, you know, near each other? (;

Some kinda montage on a video screen would be cool. Have like wedding scenes from shows or movies you both like.

Well... I think La La Love you is one of the only ones you can actually dance to like that. I think it will okay like that.

I was thinking about romantic sceens from movies. Epic kisses and movies. We were joking about Rocky Horror Picture Show on Monday. It has a wedding!

The only Pixies song I can think of close-dancing is "caribou" and I dunno how, uh, weddingy it woudl be (;
