Henrietta is getting so big and is turning into a little person. She likes to read books, play on the ipad, play with her tractor and has started humming when she wants to sleep.
She loves to tickle people and for some reason thinks that ducks say "tickle tickle tickle".
She doesn't have many words yet but she is so close. I have a feeling she is going to just start talking one day and then she will never shut up.
Even on the days where she is crabby and overwhelming, I am pretty happy with her.
Henrietta is fully a toddler now. It is sort of sad, because she doesn't want to nurse anymore and I miss her being less independent but it is also nice that we don't have to watch her every moment of the day. You can let her play with her toys while you cook or hang up laundry, which is a nice break.
She loves to read books but she likes to go really fast through them. She loves grapes and blueberries. She really dislikes green beans.
Our separation didn't seem to phase her, which I think Skype had a lot to do with. She has been a little more clingy to me when I am around but she has always been a cuddly.
I am pretty happy with this baby, she is awesome.

Jan. 16th, 2015 11:50 pmOkay, that isn't right, I wasn't okay hat she is gone, I just put it out of my mind. Tonight I could for some reason.
Tomorrow I have lots of things to do I the condo, mostly peeping moulding & doors and priming walls. Sunday I have a pretty packed day.
I leave for Billings in 12 days. So half way there.

Henrietta went but she mostly slept:
It is so much fun bringing little kids to CONvergence. Kethry got to see lots of Disney Princesses, including Elsa, her favorite. Also so many superheroes, including many Wonder Women, which both the girls were dressed up as. Henrietta didn't care about it at all. Next year will be more fun with her.
However, we live in a condo building. There is another building 16 feet away. When she cries at least 20 units can hear her. Last night I had a dream that one of our neighbors call Child Protective Services on us and took her away. It made me really sad.
Then I woke up and she was in the bed with me because Zach had stuck her there to eat.
Lately Henrietta hasn't been as interested in nursing. She is eating more regular food and it is hard to want to nurse when you have so much to look at. This means that at least once a day I get engorged. It hurts and I leak all over the place.
Somedays I am so ready to be done with this.
Daydreaming
May. 4th, 2014 10:31 pmLately I have been daydreaming about takin a day off work, bringing Henrietta to my mon's house like usual and spending the day by myself.
I am sure I won't since I would feel guilty but it is nice to think about.

Apr. 15th, 2014 09:34 pmSometimes my dad watches Henrietta for an hour or two after my mom goes to work until I get home. Henrietta doesn't usually sleep on him because she is cranky in the afternoon and she just wants me.
Today when I went to pick her up she was passed out on him and he was really happy with that.
