New Wave Quilt - Finished Quilt Top, originally uploaded by bertine.

I finished my mom's quilt top. I am pretty happy with it even though there are some issues with it. However, I learned more about quilting and I am getting better.

Last night I washed and ironed the fabric for my next quilt. I am very excited to start it. This is the last one I am going to piece together before my machine quilting class. After the class I am going to finish these quilts and actually give them to people!

It is a lap quilt, my mom needs a quilt while she sits on the couch and watches TV.

OMG A LAP QUILT THAT IS WHAT I NEED. Right now I do the same thing with my big blanket but I have to fold it twice before it's the right size.

A lap quilt. That's the key.
