Travel Lust

Last night and this morning I have been daydreaming of traveling. I am going to Turkey in 11 months but I want to take a shorter trip some place this winter but I don't know where to go. Some place warm and sunny would be nice but I am pretty sure I would be going alone so that might just be weird. Boston is an option but my cousin is usually pretty busy in the winter.

I need to stop fantasizing and get back to work!

Ok, tonight I am going to the bookstore and getting a book on Turkey. Maybe that will help.

i'll be at a conference monday-wednesday during working hours, but otherwise i'm having a few days of fun, too. i've *always* wanted to go to california.

I have never been to san franciso. I was going to go after korea but I was pretty jet lagged and just slept in the airport.

i wouldn't complain about sharing the price of a hotel room thursday/friday nights (the end of my trip). :)

those will also be my spooky days, though, as i'm planning for alcatraz and the winchester mystery house in san jose.

I can't. I am so tempted but when I talked to my boss about it he got that look of panic on his face that meant that it was a really bad week. :(
