Travel Lust

Last night and this morning I have been daydreaming of traveling. I am going to Turkey in 11 months but I want to take a shorter trip some place this winter but I don't know where to go. Some place warm and sunny would be nice but I am pretty sure I would be going alone so that might just be weird. Boston is an option but my cousin is usually pretty busy in the winter.

I need to stop fantasizing and get back to work!

Ok, tonight I am going to the bookstore and getting a book on Turkey. Maybe that will help.

You could take a weekend trip to Bayfield Wisconsin. It's very pretty and on the Lake.

I'm sure that in a few months I'll be travel hungry too.

I went before Katrina but it is so pretty. I am not sure how many of the old houses survived but there were beautiful ones. Also, the food was really good.

I had really good sushi there too but you wouldn't eat that. Plus I had fun at the city park and the museum there. Plus the aquarium was really nice.

I have never been to san franciso. I was going to go after korea but I was pretty jet lagged and just slept in the airport.

i wouldn't complain about sharing the price of a hotel room thursday/friday nights (the end of my trip). :)

those will also be my spooky days, though, as i'm planning for alcatraz and the winchester mystery house in san jose.
