I like that feeling sometimes. It is more of an indulgent feeling more than anything, like cheesecake or something.
I have never been really "girly". I don't wear makeup often, I just wash and pull back my hair (I do use good shampoo) and I shave maybe twice a year. I think it comes down to me rather spending an extra 15 minutes in bed every day than dealing with all that extra stuff. Plus I think I have been blessed with good skin and hair. Ha!
In high school, I was the type of person who would forget to put on foundation, realize it later, and be completely mortified all day. My step mom did as much as she could to reinforce that, and I wouldn't leave the house without makeup. I would get up an hour before I had to leave anywhere so I'd have time to straighten my hair and put on a ton of makeup.
Chris actually helped me get over that in a pretty big way. I mean, I am now pretty comfortable going around town not having showered for a day or two.
