What if I live in the southern hemisphere? can i call it "signs that winter is here" which is basically that it rains every day so it would be floods and wet animals cowering under my porch

I'm feeling kinda special....only problem is we don't have street people so I'll have to find maybe a picture of people surfing the winter waves or something..

I saw the quintessential yesterday, when it gets cold here people still wear shorts, they just layer the top with a sweater (kinda backwards) and they wear socks with their jandles
