The list of foods to avoid while pregnant is insane. Between the "offical" list and all the internet rumors it seems like you can't eat anything. Not that I am paying too much attention to these lists.

BTW, one of the items on the internet rumors list? Pinneapples. WTH?

yeah, I think this is true. I touch an orange and I get hives which means it is an allergy. I haven't gone to the doctor's office for this.

I did get allergy tests for different pollens. that wasn't a fun test.

I have some sort of allergic reaction to some dyes and adhesives used in shoes. For years I had bad dermatitis and burning itching on my feet. It too several doctors before one realized the cause. The doctor told me that in his experience it's usually an allergy to some sort of chromium compound but the only way to find out would be have a bunch of uncomfortable, expensive tests done in a big hospital probably in New York City because most places can't test for obscure chemicals. He then told me that even if I found out what it was, it would be almost impossible to know what's in everything. So I now have to careful with what I wear on my feet I don't wear leather footwear (not for anything more than a day or two), if there is rubber inside there is a chance that it will cause a problem. I can sometimes find dyed vegan sneakers or shoes, but the even then there is a chance that the adhesive used to hold the natural rubber could bother me.
