Convergence

I have confirmation that gwangi and I have both tickets and a hotel room for Convergence this year. I am excited to spend my 4th of July weekend showing Zach the joys of CON since it is his first time. YAY!!

Exactly, plus it is quiter when you want to get away from the craziness. I like the Sofitel.

We are, too - I've really enjoyed staying at the Sofitel! We got a three nights for the price of two offer awhile back, so we just booked rooms through the hotel.

I usually book my own hotel rooms but I decided to go through the convention this year. It took forever to hear back from them but we finally did on the 15th. Yay!! (of course, if I had read my email I would have known we wouldn't hear until 3/15. LOL)

I'm getting ridiculously psyched for Con! It's actually kind of a disappointment when I remember, oh, wait, that's like four months from now.

Did you get the "convention rate?" The confirmation email Crystal got was a lot lower than what we paid last year.

Yeah, it was $104.00 a night, which I believe is the convention rate.
