Here is our guest list count so far. This should be pretty close to the final amount, though I suppose that my parents will have forgotten someone or I will make some new friends or something.

I know that some of the people I am inviting won't come for various reasons. I have a good childhood friend that is a pastor in Chicago and so I don't think he will be able to make a wedding in Minneapolis the day after Christmas. I also have some children in these counts that I might not invite. However, I put them in there for a worst case number and right now it isn't so bad.

I am going to be honest and let you know that not everyone of you are invited even if you live in Minneapolis. It isn't because I don't like you, it is because of that 80 in my family column. BTW, I dropped some family members because I am mean like that. No, not you [livejournal.com profile] snurri, you are cool.

theknot.com

I know it is commercial and over-hyped but I played with a bunch of sites and they have a good UI and TO-DO tracking software. I just deleted all the stuff about whiting my teeth and going to the gym.

Look at the reports they have! The "Out of Town Guest" section? I can define anything I want in there. All the Groups are user defined also. They have a nice way of setting up the todo list so I can print it out and hand Zach his list so he doesn't have to go into the site.

I didn't want to like the site but of course it is good, they are the ones with the money to hire programmers. However, they do have some stuff that could be improved upon.

I was impressed by it. Someone has taken some time with it. However, there are aspects of it that I can see are legacy pages.
