All day long I have been worrying about my kitty Emerson. When I got home from Montana he had a limp, which I don't think is serious but rather an injury from him trying to jump up on something that then fell. I still wish I could keep an eye on him.

Seems like every couple of years my fat cat hurts himself jumping down off something and I panic and get him a full run of tests and expensive things.
Hopefully your kitties limp is gone before you get too worried.
As for keeping an eye on him, you could always set up a webcam and watch him from work. I used to do that before I worked at the cat farm. ;)
