why am I at work when I could be redoing tile in my bathroom?

I'm having re-do the bathroom fantasies lately. We've got to replace our ceiling in the bathroom after the wasp fiasco, which gets rid of the horrid cottage cheese ceiling, which means I can paint it, which means we could change the look of the bathroom... etc.

Tile, re-arranging, whirlpool/jacuzzi, new cupboards that aren't cheap crap... sigh.

That is sort of how I started. My brother and his friend removed all the wallpaper and now I am on a roll! I need to regrout some of the tile and then move on to patching the walls and ceiling and stripping paint and WHY AM I AT WORK?

And I would LOVE to not have awful-white tile in the tub/shower. Doesn't mix well with hairdye.

My tile is this soft yellow tile which I sort of love for some reason. LOL.

What color would you want? If you wait a few months when I am less busy at work and done with my bathroom I will help you redo the tile. :)

Not sure, probably a couple of different colors, maybe in a checkerboard pattern, maybe something else. It'll probably be more than a few months, though. We really don't have the funds to overhaul the bathroom right now.

Still... it means you can think of what you want. Checkerboard is pretty easy to tile, however to take the old tile off it is usually easier to remove all the walls behind it and replace them.

I want to be at home going through closets and packing books and getting ready for the move. A rainy day is PERFECT for my mood with that kind of projects. Turn up the radio and work work work.

Really, I should be turning this energy towards the website at work. Le sigh... it's Friday, and my mind is so not here.

That is how I feel today. I usually can turn that energy into work but I have a project at home that I want to get done!
