I think I finally get why my mom "forgets" to eat. Today I ate lunch (sandwhich and soup) and just had some steam veggies for a snack and now I feel sick again. This is starting to condition me to avoid eating.

In other news, I did deep water aerobics last night with [livejournal.com profile] misanthropoet and that was a lot of fun. I want to go again.

I am cooking dinner right now. And drinking orange juice. Just FYI.

GOOD, though if you feel like I do lately with food then I totally understand the whole lack of eating. It is just uncomfortable.

Well, here is the thing.

Once you stop eating, it gets really really hard to start again. This is my problem. I have trouble finishing half a Luna bar at a time, because putting a little bit of food into an empty stomach... you get hungrier before you feel full again. Darkest before dawn, etc.

So the initial eating after not eating is really uncomfortable and difficult, and given my current emotional deal and the wellbutrin, I am having trouble working past that.

Once you start you have to keep eating to burrow through the discomfort so you can get yourself on an even keel.

I don't know if that is what your mom's deal is, but that is mine, and possibly yours, from what you have written.

Orange juice is my favorite food product, which is weird because I don't like oranges all that much. Probably because they taste like watered-down versions of orange juice and I don't do anything halfway. Or something. It is late.

Ok, here's the important question: Pulp or No Pulp?

PULP.

I am trying to break my Odwalla habit because considering how much of it I drink, I think $7/64oz is slightly exorbitant.

Hah! You passed the first test! My next question was going to be "From COncentrate" or "Not From Concentrate" (;

WHEN I get orange juice, it's a nice box of organic not-from-concentrate lots-of-pulp. Mmmmmmmmmmm.

Odwalla/Naked/Fantasia (oh how I miss Fantasia!) are fun juices, but you know. (:

Hurray!

I have some weird front-of-Whole-Foods brand in my fridge right now. It's slightly bitter, but I like it.

I cannot understand the appeal of like, Tropicana. Or the frozen stuff in a can that you mix with water, because that is just nonsense.

It's weird, though, hardly anybody likes pulp in their orange juice. I don't get it.

Don't tell Bertine about the frozen can stuff (:

Tropicana Grovestead is OK, it has lots of pulp.

I think that orange juice should have enough pulp in it to support a straw!

I miss living where I could get really good juice oranges and make my own juice. NOTHING beats that!
