I was going to make a poll about existential crisises but I decided not to inflict that on you. So, here is one that my mom and I argue about everytime we do dishes together:

we use one of the plastic-bristled brushy thingies that dispense soap when push a little button on top.

generally, we just don't wash dishes by hand unless absolutely necessary (like whatever really can't go in the dishwasher).

I am not blessed with a dishwasher but I figured that everyone has stuff they don't put in the dishwasher.

I am always scared the brushes will scratch my plates and glasses.

so far, so good on not scratching things. if i washed everything by hand, i'd likely use a sponge-type thing. i liked dina's method of sponge de-gunkifying. she's so smart! :)
