About six months ago I decided to stop dying my hair. This was the same time I decided to grow my hair out.

I have been dying my hair since I was 18. I wasn't exactly sure what my natural hair color was anymore because it had been so long. It turns out it is a dark blond.

Today I was in a meeting and one of my coworkers saw a light colored hair. She had recently found some gray hairs and asked me if I was going gray. I pulled it out but I am not sure if it is gray or just light blond. I am now making everyone who comes to my desk tell me which they think it is.

I have decided to just pretend it is blond.

I have grays. I think I got my first gray around 24 or so. My mom has a full head of gray but dyes, and has been dying for years. It's a horribly viscous cycle, she can't stop dying because she doesn't want to cut all her hair off, and she doesn't want a two tone effect...

I don't know why I'm telling you all that. I think it may be the wine and the slight allergic reaction I'm having to it. ;)

I don't know if I had them before. I feel weird not knowing if it was gray or blond.

Neither of your parents are gray like old people. I bet is a light blonde hair, a la Serinia or Eric.

Is tiling a shower difficult?

My original plan was tiling this weekend, but then I realized that caulk takes 72 hours to set, so I'll probably tile mid-week. My dad's going to help me and I got a book.

What did you caulk?

It is really easy, you just have to make sure you get every row of tiles level and you will be set. Also, even perfectly done tile looks pretty bad until you grout, so don't worry about that. Grout covers up a lot.

I had a similar experience. I found some light colored hairs on my head a few months ago, but my hair is so thin, I couldn't decide if it was gray or blond. Since I couldn't figure it out, I decided it didn't matter!

Exactly. It is just a shock to see them after having red hair for so long!

I've been getting the odd grey hair since I was about sixteen. Now I'm finding them a lot more frequently. Next time you get a haircut check out the floor before they sweep it up.
