Did you know you can watch how-to videos on youtube? Well, you can watch ones on how to put on make-up which is something I sort of skipped when I was younger. So today I bought some makeup and tried to do "smoky eyes". I am not sure if it looks sexy or that I have two black eyes. I wish I had a picture of me after my sinus surgery because then we could compare.

man i never wear make-up. sometimes i wish i was in the habit of 'doing my face' every morning but then most of the time i just love the fact that my only requirement is moisturizer and lots of it.

Here you go. It might have looked better if I had put makeup on all over or did my hair.

I am the same way. I like the idea of makeup but mostly I just have to put lotion on and be done with it. Though right now my face is all red and weird.

I never learned how to do makeup either.

One time I tried to apply eyeliner and it looked like a 3 year old took a pencil to my eye.

I don't even try to do eyeliner. I remember getting it on my eye once and it itching for days afterwards.

I think this only turned out so well because I got a kit that told me how to do it. I am really good at following instructions.

Even with a kit and instructions, I'd screw it up somehow. Or one eye would look really good and the other eye would look like a crayon melted on my face.

I saw the one with your eyes open. You did a good job. You have beautiful green eyes. If you really want to frame your eyes a bit more, you can darken your eyebrows a bit. Powders work well and look more natural than a pencil brow liner.

I bought more (cheaper practice) makeup today. I need to blend more, I think.
