random weekend

1. We left late to go to Joplin.

2. We talked a lot on the way down there. I obsessed about work and boys and she obsessed about her boy.

3. When we got there we danced with the boys for a few minutes and then had them help us unpack the truck. They were so cute. At one point over the weekend the three of them carried this big duffle bag together up to Serinia's room.

4. Mom showed up later and we all went to bed.

5. Saturday was full of muffins, hanging with the boys, painting, unpacking Serinia and getting things from the hardware store.

6. Saturday night was all about polka dancing at the Ernte Fest. The parking guys rode horses! We got free beer! We did the chicken dance!

7. Sunday I worked on plumbing while my mom, Serinia and Erica put together some wardrobes. Nate helped me put the plumbing together.

8. Monday morning was hanging out with the boys before they went to school, putting together a picnic table (Nate and Wyatt learned how to drill) and getting a manicure and pedicure with my mom.

9. The drive home was too event full. No one warned me that the truck's fuel gage didn't work and I ran out of gas by Bulter, MO. Some nice old guy gave me a ride, even though I was weirded out by getting a ride with someone it was a couple miles to the exit. Then I got caught behind an accident in KC and had to stop because of the storms in Iowa. I got home at 2:30am and am really tired today.

10. I think I drove right by the town woodoo24 lives in. If that is the place my aunt and uncle live pretty close to him (in Iowa standards).

Yep you probably did going to where your aunt/uncle live. I'm about 15 miles from there. The sad part is you probably drove right through the center of town and just thought you were driving by it. :p

In a odd co-inky-dink I was probably flying through where you live whilst you were driving by there I live. We flew right over the bridge. Wish I had my camera out because it would have been a great shot.

I will be in Minneapolis area next week though we are coming with something like 20 people for a meeting so not sure if I will have any time at all. Looks like I'll be working out of the Roseville area when I do come up there. Know that area? It's gonna be a busy busy project so I'll probably try to find an apartment close to there.

Actually I was on I-80 so I drove by it. I thought about driving through it but it was so late as it was.

If you flew over the bridge you flew over my condo. Right now one of the runways is down so they are flying lots of planes over my place.

So you are working from Minneapolis? I don't know Roseville that well. There are a couple people I work with that live in that area but I can't remember when I was last over there. If you have time we should go out to dinner. :)

These are the final planning meetings next week. When this projects starts (late Aug? Er...guess it is already late Aug) I will be working in Minneapolis and St. Paul for +6 months. I'll certainly be very available for dinner then if we can't make it next week.
