Convergence

I have confirmation that gwangi and I have both tickets and a hotel room for Convergence this year. I am excited to spend my 4th of July weekend showing Zach the joys of CON since it is his first time. YAY!!

Quilting

I joined a "virtual quilting bee" for three months called 6X3 Bee. I will have three months, starting April 1st, to make six identical blocks for six different people in their color choice. I am really nervous that I am not going to be able to do this!

I also don't know what sort of block to make!! The only requirements are that it is 12.5 square and we use "quilt shop quality" fabrics.

The really cool thing about this is if I do this four times I will have enough for decent size quilt! I just have to decide on the colors I want. I am really thinking I want pink and brown but I do have a lot of pink and brown. I might let Zach pick. LOL.
