for years my mom told us that this tornado destroyed our jungle gym when i was a kid.

i believe this for years until my mom let it slipped that it was falling apart and needed to go.

my mom has told me stories about that tornado!!! i was just a wee one year old then! i guess we were stuck in the basement, and i loved every minute of it.

serinia had just been born and that day we were driving to my uncle's farm so i don't remember the tornado. i don't remember the tornado but i remember the radio warning about it and then my grandma and aunt talking about the damage that happened in the city the next day.

then we learned that our beloved gym was hit by it. i also think a tree in our back yard went down, but i don't remember.
