You just need to start hanging out at more Star Trek conventions and AnimeCons. Stay away from the FurFests though. Those can get a little...messy. Or so I saw on CSI once.
doh...I always get those 2 confused. Plus I've never been to a Star Trek convention cuz they're...well...dorky. No really...
I'm starting to believe the worlds of geeky boys and geeky girls just aren't meant to collide. When I started my current gig 5 years ago there were 85 bonafide, certified (CCNAs, CCNPs, Solaris Admin, Fore LAN Engineers, even a CCIE...no cheesy Microsquish certs) geeks in my group. Of that number only one was a female.
Where is it that all the geeky girls hang out these days? I've seen them on the internet so I know they do exist. (I hope that wasn't just a Geeky-Girl Bot I was chatting with last night on IRC!) Do they have a Geeky-Girl Con I could attend?
p.s. I'll be in Va. Beach on wall-knocking-down weekend so I will not be able to attend. Have fun though.
