it isn't always "real" red. right now it is pretty close to my normal hair color but I usually like it much more red than that. i however, have all the problems of redhair, as evidenced by the wonderful burn i have right now.
I've avoided the sun since I got a nasty nasty sunburn while falling asleep on the beach once at age 19. This was almost 19 years ago (eep!) and I'm convinced this is why I look over a decade younger than I am. Keep usin' that sunscreen!!!
oh yeah, living in WA helps with that sun avoidance thing too... ;D
i mostly avoid the sun too, I wish I could handle it but I am so scared that I will ruin my skin. It is a good thing that I live in MN and it is easy to stay indoors all the time.
I am tempted to try some of the new self tanners, like the one that is just lotion? I could handle that.
