I have been thinking about my friends list and who is on it. I have a few rather distinctive groupings of people on it. Since this is longer than I expected I am breaking it up in two posts.

First there is my family. [livejournal.com profile] mage719 is my brother Jens, he is a student at the U during the day and a worker for UPS at night. [livejournal.com profile] serinia is my sister, she is the one with the court marshal but now she is a student at MCTC. [livejournal.com profile] babaphat is my brother Eric, he is in the army in Germany. [livejournal.com profile] anne32 is my brother Jens's girlfriend Anne, they will be getting married in August.

Then there is [livejournal.com profile] f_o_n_y and her boy [livejournal.com profile] _odium_. Jenni you all know, she spills her life in my comments as much as I spill mine on hers. Scotty and I once had a fight and I ignored him for about 5 months but things have been much better lately. He oddly has the same birthday as Anne.

Also on my friends list is Serinia's friends. [livejournal.com profile] emkachan was who I went to visit when I went to Russia a few years back. [livejournal.com profile] darthferret and [livejournal.com profile] deadrun is the same person. She is the one that all the guys had crushes on when she went with Serinia, Becki and I to Florida a couple years ago. [livejournal.com profile] stop_drop_n_die is another of Serinia's friends, though she also gets along with Eric really well. When she bought Halloween on DVD she gave me all the ones in VHS. I should watch those again soon. Finally, [livejournal.com profile] uber_hotguy is in this category too but it isn't my story to tell.

Next are the people in the Twin Cities that I met various ways. [livejournal.com profile] marioche69 was on Jenni's list and I added her. Jenni even met her once but I haven't. [livejournal.com profile] soyouthink was also a friend of Jenni's and I got addicted to her journal when she was obsessed with baseball last summer and I met her at her birthday party last weekend, I almost didn't go because I was feeling shy but after Jenni yelled at me, I went and had a good time. I used to work with [livejournal.com profile] skywayman at E. but while I talked to him on the phone a couple times, I didn't ever meet him. One day I posted something on a the twin cities lj he made some comment about bertine.org not working for him. I knew he had to work at E. since I hadn't ever told them that I wasn't hosting the site there anymore. I am sure he now knows more about me than he ever wanted to know about a former sort of co-worker. [livejournal.com profile] properly_warned is another story that isn't mine to tell.

I went on a date with [livejournal.com profile] greatestofnates last fall but I am a weirdo. He is an awesome guy who tried to strip his own radiators, teaches ESL and made me wonder if the aunt on the Simpsons watch Stargate SG1. I also went on a date with [livejournal.com profile] 433 a couple summers ago but he never called me back. Actually it is funny, my sister knew him and he knew most of her friends described above. We also end up at alot of the same functions since Minneapolis is really a small town where he is damn easy to pick out of a crowd since he has blue hair.

About a year ago I was seeing [livejournal.com profile] greenpat and met a bunch of his friend while playing board games. First was [livejournal.com profile] ludomancer, Patrick's partner in Tendonitis Games, and [livejournal.com profile] geberus, who doesn't seem to ever update. Then I met [livejournal.com profile] cheerfulchaotic while he was here checking out the cities to go to grad school. He did end up coming here for school and is now roommates with Ludomancer. Finally I met [livejournal.com profile] squirrelbot while out with a bunch of Patrick's friends. He was cute so I added him to my list.

I have a good amount of people on my friends list that I met because of Email Roulette or one of my other sites. First there is [livejournal.com profile] absenthine and [livejournal.com profile] mesawyou. I hate to admit this but I don't remember which was which. I know one was because of Email Roulette but I am not sure which one. They both came into my livejournal world about the same time and I still get their locations mixed up sometimes. EDIT: [livejournal.com profile] mesawyou reminded me that I was her secret santa from thinkblank. I got her Donnie Darko and The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I am willing to admit I have a bad memory. [livejournal.com profile] watashi_no_desu is an Email Rouletter, she was the first non-known person to join [livejournal.com profile] email_roulette. I started talking to [livejournal.com profile] jackjack when Email Roulette first got big and he started this website that is about random mail called Postcardx. [livejournal.com profile] sand_in_my_soap is in New Zealand and never updates his journal. I started talking to him on Email Roulette and I haven't actually heard from him in a while. *hint* *hint*. Last of the Email Roulette people is [livejournal.com profile] steeltoe, who was an old skool Email Rouletter.

That is all for this post, on part two of the tour of my friends list I will go over all the people I met while wasting way too much time on Robotskull.

i love that book, i would reread it but i think i might be too old for it to have the same impact. sometimes it is best to wait to reread books like that until you have kids that age.

I'm ancient and I got something out of it. I think Grandma gertie would get something about of it, too.
