Can't sleep so I'll post about 2012

bertine2012 is done and gone. It was a pretty good year for me.
Quilting:
I quilted a lot. I am pretty happy that I picked up this hobby. I really enjoy making pretty things and giving them to people. I am actually writing this on my freshly finished wedding quilting bee quilt.
Work:
I feel really lucky to have a job like I have. It is doing something I love, for a company that is pretty awesome. I feel like I have grown a ton in the last year professionally. I also expect to do so next year as I get more responsibility. I pretty much love going to work everyday, even when the projects drag on and I really need a vacation. Plus, they pay me well and my migraines aren't causing issues.
Migraines:
They suck. A lot. I miss my medication because it helped so much. Plus it made me thinner. Though it also made me sleep more.
Friends:
I have been part of a great group of friends the last few years or so and it keeps adding new people. I feel like I have many people I could turn to if I needed help or if I wanted to be social. I like that Zach and I can entertain as often as we do and have so many people join us.
Family:
Hey, did you know I have a niece? She is pretty awesome. My mom often drives me nuts, my dad is slightly weird, my brother and sister are more weird. Zach's family is fun and far away so I don't know how weird they are yet. So, just like family.
Marriage:
Awesome. I still don't know why Zach wanted to marry me of all people but I like that he did. We make a good team. W have plans for our life and it will be excited to see how they work out.
Babies:
Hopefully soon. I am annoyed with waiting so long.
Should try to sleep again. We have a 13 hour drive in the morning. Then I can had a cat on my lap and my bath tub.
