Oh, a garage. That would be so nice. When I got off-street parking last year it was amazing!

I also want a goat but I would have to try to change the city rules. Ha!

Your large garden comment got me thinking...Hmm...An LJ/Facebook community garden. We have 2.3 acres. If we supplied the land and the water and other people worked it (I personally dislike gardening) and everyone shared in the bounty come harvest times, would anyone be interested?

I have a yard and garden (and I am KICKING myself for pulling out a bunch of stuff and not watering it anymore since September!) but I don't have chickens. I'd like to have some but I have a dog who looooves birds, neighbour dogs who loooove birds, and there's raccoons and coyotes out here so I'd need quite the setup! But you should totally do it.

Although there IS a thriving community of people who keep chickens in apartments...
