Quilting

I read a good number of quilting blogs. It is what I do when I am waiting for something or I am crabby or whatever. This has lead me to daydream about quitting my job and becoming a quilt blogger. However, I have a feeling that if I did that I wouldn't make as much money and I would really miss programming.

And there isn't much call for quilt programmers.

Which reminds me: I have a 1/2 full paper Target bag full of fabric. A lot of smallish pieces, some scraps, and 8 yards or so of one thing. Primarily cotton, although there are some other things in it as well.

Interested?

I always wonder how those bloggers make money, because you rarely hear them say stuff like "After I was done with my real job today, I came home and started making a quilt". They just seem to be "on the internet" or quilting (or whatever their blog is about). I guess advertisers and stuff help, but that doesn't seem like a very big income.
