Last night I left work at 4:30, went to the store, got home by 5:30 and cleaned the kitchen. I then start to make Mushroom risotto and porkchops. It turned out really well even though I used red wine instead of brandy. Also, I bought a 1/4 a pound of shiitake mushrooms and the rest were baby bellas. I am so cheap.

This week has been really long. Zach and I have both been really stressed. Zach has been working even more hours than I have been this week and what should have been an easy plumbing fix has cause our toliet to be out of commission since Tuesday. We sort of just roll with this stuff but this morning we both got up and didn't want to go to work which is very odd. My plan today is to leave at 4:30 again today.

This weekend we are going to declutter our house. We are going to fix the toliet (Actually we are just replacing it. It is 40 years old), fixing a window and putting up some crown molding. I am going to try to catch up on sleep.

I am not sure I want to wait 10 days, we have been sharing Eric's bathroom since Tuesday and it is annoying.

Is it? I don't know. I didn't want to put in a toilet that was a bigger pile of shit than the old one, and according to my research, this one was the best value. It uses 0.9 liters for the #1 flush, or 1.6 liters for the #2 flush. I don't think we've ever clogged it or needed to double-flush. Sure, you can probably get cheaper toilets. I don't know that I'd want to, though.
