Serinia's Quilt Top, originally uploaded by bertine.

The top is done. I am happy with it. That was a lot of sewing and I learned a ton. I bought a 1/4" foot half way through and that helped a lot.

I am going to quilt it after my machine quilting class because I am sure I'll learn lots of tricks in the class. Plus it is so huge that I am a little scared to start it.

Thanks! It was so much work but once I got the right foot I stopped having to rip seams out. LOL.

Gifts like this are always the best.
My Mum made me a quillow thing years ago and was quite surprised that I still had it. I wouldn't give it up for the world, because it's cool and most important because someone took the time to make it for me.
Guess I'm trying to say I'm pretty sure she'll like it.
