"How Much? Here is the latest model run, showing a band of 15-28" extending from the MSP meetro area into much of northern Wisconsin and the U.P. of Michigan. This band may still shift (slightly) over the next 12-24 hours, but again, I just don't see how we see anything less than a foot in the metro area. Frankly, as time goes on I'm starting to think final amounts may be closer to 2 feet. We'll see, but this has all the hallmarks of a major blizzard for much of the Upper Midwest, something we haven't seen for nearly 2 decades."

This sort of makes me excited, mostly because I don't have to go anywhere tomorrow.

oh wow.

I have a friend who moved from the tip of Texas to Mankato about two months ago. Oh man she won't be handling this well at all.

I laughed out loud at that even though it is mean. This is the second weekend in a row that we have had a snow storm. Last weekend was only about 5 inches.

Well she's up there because her husband is in grad school. I laughed when she told me she was going. Then I got all excited because of its Little House on the Prairie ties. Then came Little House on the Prairie jokes. THen came the "you know you're going to have your nose fall off due to frostbite, don't you?"

Yeah, it's a big change. I can only imagine.
