Reasons I need a new phone:

  1. My phone randomly doesn't ring
  2. All the buttons have fallen off my phone which has lead me to:

    1. Hang up on people
    2. Not be able to text message
    3. Not be able to dial phone numbers
    4. Accidently text message my coworker "I love you"

  3. My battery dies all the time
  4. I want a better camera
  5. I want a full keyboard

Oh, I forgot the most important one. It STOPPED LETTING ME CALL MY SISTER!!!!!

I think this means I am going phone shopping this weekend. I hate phone shopping.

Have I mentioned how much I looooove my Nexus One? In fact, I'm posting this from it.

That'll definitely work for texting (;

If you're still looking for a phone you can develop for (I remember you were looking at Mr iPhone for that), then I'd still recommend a Nexus One. You can't go wrong with Android (free SDK, and it's basically Java), plus if you're eligable for an upgrade from t-mobile you can get one for $180.

Also it's FAST.

Oh I was going to say, whatever you do, go try it out at a store. Especially with a physical keyboard. I always thought that a full physical QWERTY is the way to go, but they're usually do small that I mistype just as much on them... more so even. If you're used to t9 you might like that better!

I have twice thrown my Blackberry Curve at a brick wall and it still works. So I recommend that.

I want a new phone, you on the other hand really need a new phone.
Check them out online first then you will know what you want before you go in?

I think I know which one I am getting. I don't want a smart phone, just a messaging phone. If I even know what the difference between the two are.

I've heard good things about the Droid. No personal experience though. My phone is going on four years old (that's like 100 in technology years) and is still capable of analog signal use.

I am not sure I want something that fancy. This isn't the first phone that has completely broken on me. My last phone had to be duct taped together for a few months and only really worked it I held it just right.

It is a good thing all my coworkers know I have a really broken phone. They make fun of it. They also still make fun of my last phone that was duct taped together.

That was my fave too. I'd be mortified if I did that!
