2009 in Review

January:
I crushed on many boys and flirted a lot. I rediscovered how much I love to bake. I hung out with my friends a few times a week. I had some meetings for with with important to my company people. I got my new work laptop. I got a rug for Christmas from Eric while he was home from Iraq on leave. I made a poor choice after drinking and came up with the guideline "Don't let a guy stick his tongue down my throat until he buys me dinner first".

February:
I had my annual review where I was told I am awesome. I crushed on more boys. I went on what could be considered my first date with gwangi but I was so nervous that I talked too much. I went to the Art Sled Rally and went down the hill in a sled. I spent Valentine's day with my friends watching twisted love movies. I debated asking gwangi out for an actual date. I got a huge crush on the Kindle. I finally was able to go sledding.

March:
My coworkers gave my advice on boys. I went out on my official first date with gwangi. I started spending most of my time with Zach. I got a bonus and took my friends out for pedicures. Work started getting crazy. I saw House of Wax in 3-D. My relationship status changed on Facebook. I bought a toothbrush for Zach's place. Zach and I went to the roller girls and he fell in love with them. I went on the Nuvaring.

April:
I worked a lot. Zach met my parents and a bunch of my family. I got a lot of migraines and had an excess of anxiety. I met Zach's parents.

May:
I brought Zach to the May Day Parade. I worked a lot and had a lot of migraines. I went to a clothing swap and fell in love with them. Zach took me on a mini-vacation to Spam Museum and Effigy Mounds National Monument. Eric came home from Iraq. Zach and I went to Alex to see a small town parade and almost missed it!

June:
I set up Netflix Instant Watch on Eric's Xbox. I tried to get into shape for a hike up a to a glacier later in July. Lots of work. More migraines. I updated many computers. SPAM cookout. I had my period for the entire month. I wanted to cry almost everyday. My dad turned 60. I helped build the Snack Food Glory Hole for CONvergence. I finally realize that the Nuvaring was making me have pretty much constant migraines.

July:
CONvergence. My brain starting working again. I got a Crockpot. I bought a lot of camping/hiking stuff. Went camping in the BWCA but left early because of the really sucky weather. Eric closed on his house. I went to Montana with Zach for his sister's wedding. We got along really well through a couple long car rides, a hike up a mountain and meeting his entire family.

August:
Zach's sister's wedding! I worked on my bathroom. A really bad date. Eric and Katie came to town. It was really hot.

September:
I got an IUD. Zach and I went to Itasca State Park. My coworker (and ex-crush) Rich died. Restaurant Week and a fancy dinner. I met messyjessy in person!

October:
My cousin got married. I met avecvu in person. I hung out with Zach and ate a lot of pickles. Went to Eric's Halloween party.

November:
I tried to bake more bread. My grandpa died. My birthday came and went. I had some really bad cramps from my IUD. I bought a new TV. Crystal's brother passed away. Zach and I went to the Vikings because woodoo24 gave us tickets (I still owe him cookies). I rejoined the YWCA.

December:
I rediscovered Civ4. I bought fancy underwear. Zach joined the army. I had a lot of meetings. I went to Billings for Christmas with Zach's family.

This is my second year doing this. It takes a lot of time to write but I sort of enjoy reviewing my year.
