So, I have the start of a migraine. Actually I have had it most of the day but it is slowly getting worse. I should take an imitrex and take care of it but the side effect of the pill will make it hard for me to work for about an hour. My migraine isn't so bad that I can't work but I am not working as well as usual (plus I can't spell at all right now).

So, what would you do?

[Poll #1474382]

Yes, I took it. The reason I took it is because I know that make terrible decisions when I have a migraine and I thought about what [livejournal.com profile] gwangi would tell me to do. Plus I just ate lunch and that sometimes makes the side effects of the pill less.

Well... What I feared would happen did happen.

I just got pulled into a meeting where I needed to explain something complicated AND I had to make promises that I need to finish before the end of the day. However, my notes seem to be jibberish and I can't troubleshoot anything complicated right now and if held off until I was home to take the pill I would have been much more capable of thinking even if I was in pain.

Sigh, why can't they make a pill that works without these stupid sideeffects.

Must be a hysteresis effect; your brain overheats and needs a cool-down period. 'Nuff said.
