1. After my last update I took a bath and ended up going back to bed.

2. I went to lunch with [livejournal.com profile] lisianthia , [livejournal.com profile] spongebobjess and [livejournal.com profile] damncutekitty then we went to go get pedicures at a place about a block away from my house. I love this place and will be going there to get a manicure when my fingers heal up a bit.

3. After the pedicure I went shopping at target with Jens and ran into [livejournal.com profile] marioche69. Yay! Best quote from Jens about his class "So, this week I think I am going to do a writer's workshop where we focus on the structure of a story", "Um... don't you teach kindergarten?", "Yes, we are going to review the difference between 'beginning', 'middle' and 'end'". Jens cracks me up.

4. Saturday night was a Lebowski at a local bowling alley. I went as the Dude again. It was very fun and I got a little tipsy.

5. Saturday morning I slept in, read the newspaper* and then went to brunch with [livejournal.com profile] kevelyn63, [livejournal.com profile] misanthropoet and [livejournal.com profile] frozenrhino in my Lebowski outfit. I drank way too much coffee (why is coffee so much better at brunch than anywhere else) and couldn't resist the cuteness that is Robot Love.

6. When I finally got home I cleaned my condo, did a couple loads of laundry and baked some cookies. I also stopped by my parents house for dinner (I can't resist pot roast). Then I went to rockband, which was pretty low key but fun anyways. I didn't sing but maybe I will next time.

7. This morning I didn't want to get out of bed because it was so very comfortable.

*Odd fact about me, I always read the obits. I have since I was a kid. Anyways, while I was reading it I noticed that a sort of relative of mine had passed away. I wasn't sure if my parents would know because he is one of my dad's gigantic family so I called my parents and had to explain to my mom that I always read the obits when I read the paper. I am not sure how she didn't know that about me.

My sister also reads the obits. She used to work in nursing homes and hospices and got into the habit of reading so she could watch for former patients. People were always so touched when she would show up at funerals and they would find out that a young nursing assistant cared that much. So much of the 'care' people recieve in nursing homes is very impersonal.

I read it because 1) I love hearing about people's lives and 2) I know so many people you never know when you might come across someone that you know that died. :(

You can go ahead if you like - that might keep Karri interested in BSG! (;

My real problem with cheese is that it's so PRACTICAL!

*grins* Well it's more if we need something quick we can just pick up a pizza - oh wait cheese. Or if I'm on the go I can just get some bagels - of wait, cheese. You know? (:

Your sister is better than I am. I don't read the obits for the same reason. If I never go back and don't hear about their death they are still alive -- even if they were 101 when I left 12 years ago.
