Happy New Year!

HAPPY NEW YEAR. I hope 2009 is awesome and wonderful for you since you deserve nothing less. :)

I went to a great party last night and got home at 3 am for the second time in a week which is just weird.

I met a bunch of new people that I wish I had more time to talk to. I ate a lot of party pizzas. I laughed a lot.

I am very much enjoying my life right now. 2008 became better and better for me and I am hopeful that 2009 will continue that trend.


So my vague goals for this year are:
Learn to introduce people to each other better.
I am just bad at this. I tend to forget that everyone I know doesn't know everyone else I know.

Go to the gym more
It is so easy for me to sit at a computer for hours and never move. I need to move my body sometimes. Plus I want to get my $20 credit a month.

Be more open to guys when they show interest in me
I tend to shut down guys by instinct and make them into friends. I have been working on this more the last year but I need to continue to do this over the next year.


I think it is a good list. I still need to update my 101 in 1001 list and post it for you since I haven't forgotten about that. Now I am off to the gym for a bit.

Learn to introduce people to each other better.

This reminds me of the scene in Bridget Jones's Diary where she's trying to introduce people with thoughtful details. And Mark Darcy introduces her by saying she used to run round naked in his paddling pool.

That's a great list. I try to introduce people, but I get self-conscious and suddenly forget names.

You can meet guys at the gym. Avoid the ones who stare at their muscles, though. They're a protein shake away from a gay pride parade.

I am getting better at talking to people but the introducing part of things is hard for me. I *will* get better at it. :)
