2008 In Review (Sorry it isn't a musical)

bertineJanuary:
I whined a lot. I started this year not completely happy with my life and I think the whining was a way for me to figure out what I could change and what I was stuck with. I barely left my house for anything other than work.
February:
I took a lot of pictures of myself. I started to come to the realization that Minor and I weren't "meant to be". Weird work drama (not involving me). Someone wrote my name and number on the bathroom wall of a bar as a mean joke and people actually called it. I started reading Fables. I was really sick most of the month.
March:
I started planning my trip to Korea. I got rid of all my bras and bought new ones that actually fit. I sort of looked into another job. My sister went off her medication and decided that it was a good idea to email Minor to stay away from me.
April:
I decided I didn't want to change jobs. I bought a bridesmaid dress. I started thinking about boys much more than I had in a long time. I decided I liked my hair long.
May:
My great-aunt Evelyn died. I went to Duluth for the day with Jens and Anne. My mom ended up in the hospital for a week. My parents started trying to stop smoking. I went to a wedding where I kissed my spring crush while dancing. I went to Korea.
June:
Sun and Jongheyon's wedding. Came back from Korea. I was pretty jetlagged for a week. Eric was deployed. I rode my bike a lot. Lots of flirting and thinking about boys.
July:
I discovered all you can eat sushi (in an hour). Lots of stuff going on at work that I wasn't privy to for another month. I went to Jill's bridal showers. I suffered through one horrific migraine. I got a really huge bruise that I am still unsure how I got. I thought about kissing often. I went to Evelyn's memorial service. I started to like the way I look.
August:
I discovered MIT Open Courseware. Xerxes joined my family. I went to my cousin's wedding. I figured out how to bike to work. Jens turned 30. I went to Joplin to hang out with my sister. Eric went to Iraq. I bought a lot of cute undergarments.
September:
Jill's wedding. I started hanging out with my current group of friends.
October:
I got a new table from my parents. I got rid of the pool table that was taking up so much room. My body freaked out on me. I remembered that my allergy to latex isn't something to ignore. I started to be annoying happy most of the time.
November:
I went to Madison. I turned 32. I learned about sockdreams.com. I starting baking all the time. My parents gave me a kitchen-aid mixer. Work became stressful.
December:
I ate a lot of food. I crushed on a guy for most of the month. Alas he never seemed to want to hang out with me. I was happy often.
