In ten years I want...

1) To have a happy and healthy family, still happily married to my lovely wife.
2) To have both children in some type of post secondary education.
3) To be in a well paid, stable management position working for a company that is stable.
4) To own a truck again.

Since I started see my man, my whole possible future seems to have shifted to something I've never envisioned for myself, so I'm still trying to piece that whole thing together.

In 10 years, I hope that I will--
1) Be happy in whatever job I have
2) Not work at the same place I do now
3) Live in another state
4) Have the same cat

Is that good or bad? (:

1) Be even more madly in love with my husband than I am now. Ditch the kids and spend one-on-one time with him just hanging out and having fun like best friends are supposed to do. And have more sex than we are able to do with a toddler and an infant in the bedroom.
2) Be there when my kids go to and get home from school each day. But have a part time job while they're at school to keep myself from losing my sanity... maybe... maybe I'd just rather use the time to clean and run errands and do all those things that are so hard to do with kids in tow.
3) Have a real house with space between our neighbors and a yard for the kids to play. Also with space for some animals -- 6 pigs, 3 cows and their calves, 12 chickens, a dog or two and a cat.
4) Still be 32 (or at least look like it)

I dunno. What I'd really like would be to not have to work anymore.

Is this supposed to be realistic goals or what we really want? (:

I never want to have the kind of life where things would get predictable enough that I would start thinking I could guess what I might want ten years from now.

Hell, what I wanted last week is not the same as what I want today. :-D

That is what I like about you. You admit you like your life unpredictable. I am much more of a planner and I know that things could all change in an instance but I like having goals.

Oh, I have plenty of goals - in fact, I'm almost entirely goal-oriented... I just wouldn't count on anything being how I expect it to be that far in the future. I keep my goals flexible so they'll still be feasible even if I move to Africa next year or end up on the space shuttle or something haha. :-)
