Lazy Sunday

● I went to look at Eric's almost multi-family dwelling and I think with a little work it will be really nice. It is weird that he will be closing on it in less than a month.

● I wanted to go shopping for cleaning supplies but it is so cold and blah outside I don't want to leave my house. So I rearranged my living room and dusted everything. Also I have been packing up Eric's stuff to put in his room. He really does have a lot of stuff. I guess I didn't realize that.

● I want to clean my bathroom but I am chilly and sleepy so I might just take a nap. Or watch a movie (which means I'll be taking a nap). Maybe if I put a movie in I'll clean out the tool closet or declutter the kitchen.

● I wish I had someone to cuddle with this afternoon. It is perfect cuddling on the couch while I fall asleep weather. It is also perfect baking weather but I am out of flour and as I mentioned I don't want to leave my house.

● I am excited about bringing Eric's camera to Madison with me next weekend. I am going to visit my friend Katie for her baby shower and we are going to the Madison Farmer's Market, her shower and the hanging out Saturday night. Then we are going to brunch. Brunch in a different city is exciting and playing with a cool camera all weekend is even more exciting.

● My office really needs to be cleaned. I don't think I have vacuumed in weeks and I have cat hair tumbleweeds.

● I am spending all of today eating leftovers from the last week. Mmm... leftovers of good food.

● I totally got a date to my company holiday party. Yay!

● I took a good picture of myself last night with Eric's camera. I really think I am starting to get the knack of it. I practiced a lot getting the focus working right without it being on auto focus. My one eye is just a little blurry but I think that is only noticeable when it is huge.

Hey, will you ask Eric if he would like my couch that is in storage? It is very long and filled with feathers. It is the perfect napping couch. We might need to buy a cover for it, or make covers for the cushions, but otherwise it is an awesome couch. It came from Room & Board.

Soon he will own it then we will go for a tour! This was my first time in it and it was pretty awesome. There are some walls to take down and some doors to move but I think the layout is actually pretty decent.

It is my friend Amy (marioche69), not a "date". I tempted her with the cute single guys at my office.

I was trying to tempt some guy into seeing more of me but he obviously doesn't get how awesome I am.

I offered cookies and my company along with subtle tactics and straight out asking. Alas, I was denied.

It is okay though. While I was never really worried about my sex drive. I was worried about the lack of interest in actually dating. This just proved to me that I am coming out of that phase.

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. At least I am not one to be too awkward around people I dated/wanted to date.

He isn't so it is fine. I don't really get mad or hold grudges towards people. Many of my exes read my livejournal.

any cookies that don't have raisins are the best kind of cookies! usually. i just remembered some molasses cookies that my mom used to make... blech. they were green.

sometime i think about making cookies then i remember that i have no one to give them to and not enough kitchen space/too many meddling cats. some day i'll bake cookies again!

I was thinking about having a cookie baking thing in early december so I can have lots of different sorts of cookies without having to make so many batches. I have a pretty decent kitchen, I guess.

I am pretty sure my parents are giving me a kitchen-aid for my birthday/christmas so I would have a good mixer and I want to buy two more cookie pans so I'll have four!

kitchen-aid stand mixer? i'm jealous. unless i buy one for myself, i can expect one from my parents if i ever get married. ha!

i would need a nicer kitchen to put it in first, though.

My theory is that at this point I have almost everything I would have asked for if I had gotten married already except for the kitchen aid stand mixer (and a nice set of day-to-day dishes which I am going to ask for next year).

i had a friend who received her "wedding china" when she graduated high school. i think that's bizarre.
