Mug Mystery

bertineThis morning when I went to check my email I noticed that one of my favorite cups, my Red Wing Pottery earthenware mug from MPR was laying on it's side and the handle was broken off. The things that disturb me about this is:
1. Who broke it? I am guessing my cats but I don't know.
2. That I couldn't find all of the handle pieces. I think Xerxes brought them to his stash.
3. I didn't wake up when it broke. I usually love that I can sleep through anything but sometimes I wonder if it is a good thing.
