You have to go at 10:30pm to get dollar tacos, though. If someone is willing to help me home after, I'm down to go any night of the week. :) I <3 dollar tacos! :D
Tomorrow night it is! I'm going to use this as motivation to do some room cleaning before I go out...unless you want to do something after 6 and before 10:30! :P
I honestly should stay home and clean, but I also really don't want to. :P If you're feeling up for dinner, we could hit up Chino, Independent or Figlio for the tail end of their happy hour and then re-group at 10:30 for late night Chino. And yes, I have done this before--Chino twice in a day. :P Otherwise, I have video games and movies at my place.
Tomorrow is Wednesday, so I'm not sure what Ann's TV schedule is...something tells me Project Runway might be on one of these nights? Plus, I'll HAVE to watch South Park tomorrow at 9. wanna meet at my place at 9 to watch SP or 9:30 if you don't like SP? :P
I haven't watch SP in years. I would be up for that. I think Project Runway is done.
I am pretty sure I'll be going out to lunch tomorrow and I really don't like eating out for both lunch and dinner (I don't enjoy dinner then). Tacos would be late enough that I would be hungry again.
It is ok, I think the sugar from this weekend finally got out of my system at 1 pm today and now I am sort of bummed. I just have to remember I have the cutest underwear on right now.
It really depends on the day of the month, the day of the week, the weather...too many variables. I've had days where I walk out after lunch wtih $60+, and days where I have walked out after lunch with $11. It's hard, too, because the restaurant is located in a neighborhood of two notoriously bad tipping demographics--old people and Jewish people. Sometimes even OLD JEWISH PEOPLE (OMG double trouble).
I hate to stereotype, but it's so hard when the stereotypes are TRUE.
Today, if I had been working lunch alone, I would have been running my ass off and made around $50. As it was, I worked with one of my favorite servers (Jane), and the hostess actually helped bus tables and bring out water. I think it was because the big boss was there, but it will karmically pay her back on Thursday when I host and she serves. :) I like days where everyone helps and I don't feel so overwhelmed. It's easy to mess up during lunch because EVERYONE gets salads, lots of people have coupons or discount cards, and everyone is super demanding. It's not always worth it to bust my ass during lunch, but I do get a free meal out of the deal. Tevs.
Back to your original question, I'd say that it usually averages out to 20% or more per table. Sometimes it rocks because I have lots of tables, sometimes it sucks because lunch is so cheap. 20% or more might be $2, but it's still a good percentage.

Date: 2008-10-22 03:16 am (UTC)I'll be eating at Vescio's tomorrow, so dinner would be overkill for me, too. Late night happy hour would be perfect!
I got your text...dur!
Can we/should we invite more people? Or do you want Bertine-Pants time? ;)
