I found a route to work that is exactly 10 miles. My goal is to find the quickest route to work and then take the fun routes home. I also found a cash machine that is on the way. Woo.

Once I get in better shape I'll be able to keep up with the cute boys that pass me. Right now it is just sad.

The shirt I grabbed this morning has a hole under the arm. The outfit looks good until I hold up my arm.

I bought new pants last night. Actually I went into the dressing room with 15 pieces of clothing and only one looked good. Sigh.

Shopping made me feel fat.

I would tell you about my bra shopping woes but they depress me.

The house across the street from my parents is for sale. I think Eric is thinking about buying it because it is only $75K. It needs work but he likes that.

Did I mention that there seems to be a lot of cute boys out there?

It is September. Fall is my favorite season. Yay!

PS. [livejournal.com profile] frozenrhino, you posts about bike riding is the whole reason I decided to figure out how to ride to work. Thank you.

I got hit on for the first time while riding my bike the other day! Another biker asked me to join this Thursday night bike/pub crawl thing. He had to bike slow next to me because I'm wobbly when I slow down on my bike.

Now that I think of it, I don't know if he was checking me or my bike out more. Oh well. I think he was.

Yay for September!

Trying on clothes while shopping is the devil. And fall is my favorite season as well!

I don't buy anything without trying it on anymore since I have bought so much that doesn't fit well. :(

Woo!

Seriously, I am hoping to stay in the habit of this so I get my excersize this way.

Clothes shopping always makes me feel fat, too.

I just hate how things don't fit.

I did find a skirt that fit really well but nothing to wear on top. :(

Did you buy the skirt anyway? I would have :) I realized a couple years ago that my best strategy for shopping is to go regularly for short periods. Or else all my shopping needs build up, and then I have to get a ton of stuff at once, and my try-on to actually-buy ratio isn't that good.

On a side note, this morning, after biking to work, I realized that the shirt I brought had a rather noticeable hole in the sleeve. That's one draw back to commuting and bring clothes with. Sometimes you needs that 30 seconds of looking in the mirror BEFORE leaving for work to find the imperfection before leaving the closet area! Needless to say, I got to roll up my sleeves today!

:)

No, I didn't buy it because as much as I liked it I don't think I would have ever worn it. It was too formal.

I actually like shopping for the most part but I agree that the best way to do it is a piece at a time. That is what I was doing the other night just I saw lots of things I liked.

See! That is the sucky part of biking to work!

$75k for a house? I'll take it!

I know. It is actually a 4 plex and was a rental for all the years I remember but I think if Eric bought it he would make it into a single family house again.

Plus he would live closer to my parents than I do. WOO!

Or if you're single you'd rent three units and pocket the cash.

They don't have duplexes, triplexes and quadplexes in Seattle. It's really weird.

They are really small units. I could actually see him making it a duplex and renting out half. Or maybe a triplex. Hmm...

It is weird they don't. They are pretty common here.

Dead common where I grew up as well. If I'm honest I wish I could pick up a duplex for us and my folks. But they just don't exist.

I like the idea of that alot. I would do that with my parents when they got older but then again I live about a block away so that is pretty good too.

$75K wow! I wish house prices were like that here. Are there others in the area similar price or cheaper?

It isn't a good part of town, so yes, there are other houses are price.
