I really need a break from work but I have to admit that I am pretty darn lucky to have a job doing something that I like as much as I do.

If I am going for a couple weeks I like to change my sheets and make sure the dishes are washed and stuff but otherwise I sort of just leave.

My deal is make sure that when I get back things haven't turned REALLY gross, and definitely that I don't have to CLEAN stuff as soon as I get back home.

That is pretty much my goal. I am pretty neat anyways and I usually do laundry before I go places because I always want to bring my favorite clothes. :)

I just really don't want to do dishes this time. Sigh.

I wouldn't leave laundry, no.

I do the dishes ALL THE TIME. My rule is no eating if there are dishes in the sink. I kinda had to develop this OCD because otherwise I'd let them go for months. And that's just disgusting.

I always rinse out my dishes but I hate actually washing them. I need to just get a couple glases and bowls and that would force to me to do dishes more often. Sigh.

I've found that if I do a lot of cleaning right before I leave, then I am anxious to get back to my nice clean space and spend some time in it. I now try to do heavier cleaning a few days before I leave . . .

I never remember that I cleaned my place until I get home and think "Oh, this is nice".

I like coming home to a clean house. It makes "reentry" much nicer.
