Summer Picnic

So, this year my company summer picnic is at Valleyfair, a local amusement park. I was hopeful that the picnic would be outside the park so the company wouldn't have to pay for a ticket for me to go into the park when I don't like amusement parks at all. However the picnic is in the park so I don't know what to do.

I usually go to these things no matter what because it is a great time to get to know people and hang out but I hate amusement parks, I don't have kids and I don't even have a guest.

Well... this is in June and RenFest is much later. I miss working at renfest. :(

Yeah, I am sure I will, it just seems like a waste to go and not do the rides.

I think I would like roller coasters better if they didn't go up high. They need one that just stays on the ground.

Actually I am not very good in cars either. Maybe if they had lots of books and an internet connection. That is about as thrilling as I get!

Valleyfair was the first amusement park I ever went to. :) I drive by there every once in awhile on my way out to some of our remote sites. I should prolly go once before my project in the TCs is finished.

Valleyfair was my first too. Actually I am not sure I have ever gone to another one...

And merry-go-rounds are fun, I believe. So are those giant swings and Thunder Canyon. I went to Valley Fair once last year and I probably won't go back for a long time, but it was kinda cool. At least you won't have to pay or buy your own $4 ice cream.

I do like Thunder Canyon. I forgot about that. I'll go, just it seems like a waste. The zoo was more fun.
