Yesterday was perfect weather. I got my bike out and rode to the river and then rode up to Lake Calhoun. Then I stopped at Holy Land Deli and bought olives and got a tour of their expanded store at the Global Market. I think this means I shop there too much but it was nice.

I think I am sunburned. I wore sunblock but I was out longer than I expected and didn't bring any extra. Also, since this is the first summer where I am not dying my hair in 14 years, I sort of forgot that the sun lightens my hair. I bet I'll be blond by the end of summer.

The bike paths in Minneapolis kept getting better and better!

Get a bike so you can go bike riding with me. I want to ride every weekend around the lakes or to the river or someplace!

The one time I went to global market, the holy land there was TINY.

I go to the one in Columbia Heights a lot and I never got a tour! But I'm OK with that, I don't really need to see the meat processing area...

They expanded out so they are that whole side.

It wasn't too much of a tour, more like "This is where we put this and we now have this and this". I always chat with the girl that was working yesterday so I am sure that is why she showed me their new stuff.

It's always different people at the one I go to. Except this one girl who knows that I'm going to get all the happy hippos.

Hey if you're at yours again anytime soon, see if they have any happy hippos. Ours have been out for MONTHS.

I know they have happy hippos because I bought a couple to send to my sister last week. Though I bought them out then.

I usually get the Kinder Eggs but they were out of those so I had to go with happy hippos. I would have saved some for you if I had known you liked them!

Hehe, it's OK, I don't need to have MORE candy... I actually usually ship a bunch to a friend in Canada where they can't get them!
