I was going to make a poll about existential crisises but I decided not to inflict that on you. So, here is one that my mom and I argue about everytime we do dishes together:

I use a sponge that has mesh on one side and a scrubby fabric on the other. I should probably use dishrags, since I have a huge stack of them (I make them as gifts and don't give out as many as I make), but I just don't feel like they do as good a job.

And I am the dishwasher here. I hate that but I think I'd still be handwashing 80% of the dishes if we had an actual dishwasher. *Sigh*

I wouldn't hand wash anything if I had a dishwasher. As it is I try not to dirty dishes because I hate washing them so much I only do it every few weeks.
