I was going to make a poll about existential crisises but I decided not to inflict that on you. So, here is one that my mom and I argue about everytime we do dishes together:
Right now, I use a sponge, with a scruby surface side. But sometimes, I think how I should use a washcloth because I have a variety of them for the kitchen, and they would be reuseable, as oppose to the sponges, which I just eventually throw out.
But the dish clothes always seems to acquire that smell after a day or so if they're not dried out right, and it sticks on your hands for what seems like ever. This is why I'm not a huge fan of using a wash cloth.
I completely agree about wash clothes. If I do use them I wash them right away. Since I didn't have a washer for many years I got in the habit of using a sponge because it was easier to keep clean.
