My mum crochets this cloths that are awesome for cleaning everything from dishes to faces just don't get them mixed up.
I like those and a brush but sponges freak me out.

Ooh, how cool! Do you know what sort of yarn she uses? Are they washcloth-ish, or more Bath and Body Works mesh sponge-ish? I so need a new crocheting project.

Four ply cotton yarn.
I googled crochet washcloths on a whim and there seems to be a few patterns out there.
The one's Mum makes are apparently really simple, she pumps them out like mad.

Awesome. I used to make knit wash clothes for presents before I gave up knitting. I used bamboo yarn which was cool.
