This is an interesting photo of the 35w bridge being built. I guess I didn't realize that the 10th street bridge was built first. Plus the area looks so un-built up.
Oh, yeah! The bridges surrounding it are quite old! The 10th Avenue and 3rd Avenue bridges were built in the '20s, the West Coast Limited bridge (now a pedestrian bridge was from the '40s, I think, and the Stone Arch Bridge is from the late 1800s.
