So, if you ever wonder where I get my work ethic, you know. Also, sometimes I forget just how tough my dad is. One of our big jokes is that if we were vikings dad would have been one of the best warriors. Well, that isn't just based on looks.
He is going to go into work late on Friday so a burn specialist can take a look at it to make sure his hands are healing well. They can't heal wrong or he won't be able to play golf!
- went to work at 5:00 am
- tripped while inspecting a road they were laying asphalt
- landed with his hands in the asphalt
- went to urgent care
- was told they were second degree burns
- had them wrap up his hands
- pulled gloves over the wraps
- went back to work
- got home at 9:30pm
- ate his favorite meal
- promptly went to bed because he has to leave at 5:00 am tomorrow again
