you are totally on the mark. my problem is if i don't get feedback from others i can rationalize a lot of stuff.

i can rationalize myself into anything. my brain works too much and too well. i can see a situation and figure out how to make it work for me.

the upside to this is i am enternally optimistic and i am a damn good programmer. the downside is i can look at a personal situation and get exactly what i want out of it.

this isn't always what is good for me, or what is best for me.

actually it almost never is eithe rof those things.
