today was full of extrems. i learned i have to get a crown on the tooth i got a root canal on a few years ago, was crabby all day because of a boy and work stuff. then when i got home road runner was installed and my brother and sister got the last coat of primer and the first coat of paint on the walls of my office. i just finished the second coat and IT LOOKS AWESOME. I can put the rug in tomorrow and start setting up my NEW COMPUTER then.

My mom is going to alter my curtians on wednesday and I have some shelves to set up then I will be done with two rooms. this weekend will be the office and the "den", cleaning up the kitchen and adding a cabinet and whatever can be done in bathroom. Eric's room and bathroom are pretty much done. Then it is the livingroom, which is a much bigger project.

those who are going to cock night on wednesday should come to my condo first, CAUSE I WANT TO SHOW IT OFF.

Every so often I desire a foo foo coffee so I go to a local Starbucks in Bloomington. They treat me totally different if I am wearing a tie, or jeans. The chicks are snooby as hell if I'm dressed up, and more friendly if I am in Jeans. Its kind of become a little experiment for me.

I can just picture the conversation they have with themselves:

no, but i have a lot of ex-coworkers who did. they've all been cut. also, i HATE their shady deal with the city of richfield. i lived there at the time. evil fuckers.

So I take it you have not purchased anything from their stores recently? When I was doind IT Recruiting, I must have met with 150 Best Buy people who still work there but are PISSED about accenture.

The deal they did with the City of Richfield was more of a City of Richfield thing, then a Best Buy thing. I know Best Buy wanted the land, but Richfield is NASTY about booting people when a bigger tax payer comes calling. I have had 2 friends move their business's out of richfield because of development and richfield said "This is how much your getting, and you have 3 months. Have a nice day"

i don't really know about accenture. i heard everything was outsourced. i just know a ton of IT people lost their jobs for cheaper replacements. that's wrong. same way any big corporation works.

The funny thing is the people who stayed retained their pay . . . but became accenture employees. I had Sr. Directors who Best Buy was paying $120k a year salary become accenture employees making the same base salary with as they were before. But the bill rate best buy was paying was $150 to $175 an hour. Made no sense what so ever.

does that mean they can only work there for a year and then have to go away and be rehired? or do they sign a waiver?
