watashi_no_desu is so awesome, she sent me one of my favorite candy bars ever and a nice card wishing me well with my new condo. today is going to be so much better than yesterday.

also, last night i made curry and my hands still smell like it. i just know i am going to wash them 30 times today.

When I made curry two weeks ago, I had the same experience. It's amazing how pungent that stuff is. Did you notice that it will also affect the smell of your pee (especially if onions were involved)?

I also have a plastic stirring spoon that is permanently yellow now as well.

Try rubbing your hands with metal. That's supposed to do the trick with garlinc. Maybe it'll work with curry.

I made a vegetarian Red Lentil Curry that had caramelized onions in it. Later that week I added lean ground beef to it, and it was kinda like eating chili. Both were tasty.

Yeah, I don't mind coffee, but the curry was a bit much. Maybe get a shot of wheat grass juice at your local coop and see if that cleans you out. :)
